4-H Enrollment
4-H does not have specific membership requirements. All youth from Kindergarten through Grade 13 are welcome to join. Whatever you love to do, you can find it here! Jefferson County offers enrollment in 25 clubs, countywide projects, and select school programs.
Ready to Enroll in 4-H?
Members should be enrolled in an age group by following these criteria:
• 4-H grade is determined as of October 1st.
• 5K, 1st & 2nd graders enroll as Cloverbuds. Starting at 3rd grade, members select from project areas.
• Youth continue to be eligible for membership one year beyond high school.
Members should also enroll in a community club, when doing so, consider:
• Where is the club located?
• Does the club meeting schedule work for you?
• Does the club sound like a good fit for your student?

• If you have any questions or would like to switch clubs, please contact the Extension Office.
Returning Members
• All enrollments will be submitted via http://wi.4honline.com
• Log into your existing account to re-enroll.
• Re-enrollment is due by November 5th.
• Project changes and additions can be made until March 1st.
New Members
• All enrollments will be submitted via http://wi.4honline.com
• Follow this guide to set up an account on 4-H Online.
• You will then be prompted to complete the enrollment process.
• New Member enrollments are due March 1st.
Fees
• Jefferson County dues are $20 per child–these are required.
• Leader’s Association fees are $10 per child–these are strongly recommended, but optional if paying via check.
• 4-H Online now allows you to pay online with a credit or debit card, and the dues will be paid as one payment ($30).
• If paying via check, bring your payment directly to the Jefferson County Extension Office. Checks can be made out to “Jefferson County”.
• If the enrollment fee is an issue for your family or youth, please contact the Extension Office to request a scholarship.
• Additional paperwork and/or fees may be required by your club. Please check with your club leader for specific requirements.
