Junior Leaders

All enrolled 4-H youth, grades 6 and above, are members of the Jefferson County 4-H Junior Leaders Organization. This group plans social and educational events for its members and other 4-H youth. Watch your monthly 4-H Family Newsletter and weekly Clover Connection emails for dates, times and places of meetings and activities.

The Junior Leaders are a vital component of the Jefferson County 4-H program. Jefferson County 4-H strives to work as a team – youth and adults – to create programs with youth, not for youth. Older youth are encouraged to take their leadership and project experiences and knowledge to the next level by helping teach younger members about the project and 4-H.
