All enrolled 4-H youth, grades 6 and above, are members of the Jefferson County 4-H Jr. Leaders Organization. This group plans social and educational events for its members and other 4-H youth. Watch the 4-H Family Newsletter for dates, times and places of meetings and activities.
The Jr. Leaders Board is made up of elected youth who serve the Jr. Leaders Organization and the Jefferson County 4-H program by helping to set programmatic policy in cooperation with the Leaders Association.
The Jr. Leaders and Board are vital components of the Jefferson County 4-H program. Jefferson County 4-H strives to work as a team – youth and adults – to create programs with youth, not for youth.
