4-H Endowment Fund
The Fund was established to provide long-range financial support for the Jefferson County 4-H Program through the charitable gifts of alumni and donors. Endowments provide a perpetual source of funding that help ensure 4-H learning opportunities will always be available for Jefferson County 4-H youth.
Mission & Purposes
The Jefferson County 4-H Endowment Fund offers opportunity and structure to those who wish to provide financial support for the Jefferson County 4-H Program through charitable giving.
The purpose of the endowment is to secure, invest, and manage long-term financial resources to support 4-H youth development programs, empowering youth to reach their full potential. It provides sustainable funding for the wide range of county programs from agriculture to STEM, photography to leadership and service, helping youth discover new passions and pathways, ensuring “learning by doing” experiences continue for future generations.
Investing in Our Youth
The Jefferson County 4-H Endowment Fund Committee invites Fund grant application requests from Jefferson County 4-H youth, 4-H leaders, 4-H project committee members, the 4-H leaders association board, and the 4-H program educator. The grant is only for the Jefferson County 4-H program and not for individual members or clubs.
Endowment Fund Committee
4-H Endowment Fund Committee members are responsible for overseeing the investment, growth, and distribution of the endowment’s permanent funds to support county 4-H programs. Their core duties focus on securing financial stability and ensuring funds are used to expand youth development opportunities.
