Art Appreciation

This project empowers young people with skills for a lifetime. Through a competitive process, students explore their interests, unleash their creativity, share their work, and celebrate their achievements!

Computer Graphic Design

The Computer Graphic Design project introduces 4-H youth to the exciting world of digital art and design. Participants will learn to use graphic design software, develop their artistic skills, and create visually appealing projects.

Creative Writing

How do you want to express yourself? You can explore different genres, or kinds of writing, such as poetry, short stories, plays, essays, longer works, or even multimedia projects. Then, learn about the different parts of each, like themes, plot, character, word choice, meter and rhythm, and more.

Fiber & Textile Arts

Youth will explore different fiber art techniques, including weaving, knitting, crocheting, felting, and embroidery. This project will help them develop fine motor skills, creativity, and an appreciation for the diversity of fiber arts.

Performing Arts

The Performing Arts begin with imagination and creativity. Delve into the dynamic and expressive world of performing arts. Participants will learn various performance techniques, understand the cultural significance behind different performance styles, and create their own performances.

Photography

The 4-H Photography project helps youth explore the world through the lens of a camera. Learn about equipment, capturing great images, and sharing your knowledge with others.

Upcycling

Welcome to “Upcycle Your Style” formerly known as Decorate Your Duds. In this project, you will have the opportunity to create clothing items that are special and unique. You are encouraged to experiment with colors, texture, fabrics, and yarns, and turn your ideas and designs into garments!
