Jefferson County 4-H is pleased to recognize Pam Chickering Wilson as our Volunteer of the Month!
Pam supports Jefferson County 4-H in a unique and meaningful way through her talent for photography and storytelling. Throughout the year, she generously captures and shares photographs from 4-H events and activities, helping showcase the experiences, achievements, and memories that make our program special. Her photos are regularly featured on Jefferson County 4-H social media platforms and webpages, allowing families, community members, and potential new members to see the impact of 4-H firsthand.
In addition to her photography work, Pam has been a valuable advocate for 4-H through her writing and community journalism. Her articles have highlighted local 4-H programs and opportunities, helping increase public awareness of the positive experiences available to youth through 4-H. One example featured Jefferson County 4-H’s annual Project Learning Day, where youth explored hands-on learning opportunities across a variety of project areas.
Pam’s efforts to promote local events and share the stories of young people throughout Jefferson County help strengthen community connections and encourage youth and families to become involved in 4-H. Much of the work she does happens behind the scenes, but its impact is seen every day in the strong public presence and positive reputation of Jefferson County 4-H.
