Jefferson County 4-H is proud to recognize Michael Wilson as our Member of the Month!
Michael is an active member of the Farmington All-Stars 4-H Club, where he currently serves as the club Reporter. In this role, he helps keep members and families informed about club activities and accomplishments while developing important communication and leadership skills.
Beyond the county level, Michael has represented Jefferson County as a member of the Wisconsin 4-H Drama Company, a statewide leadership opportunity that brings together youth from across Wisconsin who share a passion for theater and the performing arts. Drama Company members collaborate to create and perform an original stage production while developing leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and teaching skills. Participants share what they learn with their local clubs and communities and serve as ambassadors for Wisconsin 4-H expressive arts programming.
Michael’s commitment to service is equally impressive. He has participated in numerous community service projects, including the annual Earth Day Roadside Cleanup, helping make Jefferson County a cleaner and more welcoming place for everyone. Through his involvement in community service, club leadership, and statewide programming, Michael demonstrates the 4-H pledge by using his hands for larger service and his head for clearer thinking.
Whether performing on stage, sharing club news, or volunteering in the community, Michael is a positive role model for younger members and an excellent example of what it means to be an engaged 4-H member. Congratulations, Michael, and thank you for all you do for Jefferson County 4-H!
