Superintendents Wanted!
We’re looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our fair team! We are looking for a Junior Cultural Arts superintendent and an Open Department co-superintendent. Both jobs have duties to attend to, but can get additional help from office staff when needed!
- Role Responsibilities
- Help to facilitate judging day (June 27th for juniors, June 26th for open)
- Organize the display of projects before the Fair
- Enter results into FairEntry
Who Will be the Next Fairest?
Applications and nominations are now being accepted for the Fairest of the Fair 2027! The Fairest represents the Jefferson County Fair and should be dependable, mature, and passionate about the Fair!
- Prizes:
- Fairest will receive a $1,000 scholarship
- Participating royalty (runners up) will receive a scholarship
- Deadlines:
- Applications accepted until December 22nd
- Nominations accepted until December 1st

Auction Participants
There are still a handful of auction checks in the office waiting to be picked up! Come to the office weekdays 8am-4:30pm to grab yours.
New for 2027: Jefferson County Fair point cards are mandatory for auction participation. You can pick them up in the office or print off online at JCoFair.com/auction. Events attended beginning July 14th, 2026-May 30th, 2027 will count towards the cards. Cards are due on May 31st, 2027.
Upcoming Weigh-in Dates
If you’d like to participate in Rate of Gain for the 2027 Fair, it’s good to put the following dates on your calendar:
Beef Weigh-in: December 12th, 9-10am
Goat/Sheep Weigh-in: April 17th 9-11am
