Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month, Jody Peter!
Jody has played an instrumental role in building and growing the Jefferson County 4-H Rabbit Hopping Program. Through her dedication, encouragement, and countless hours of support, rabbit hopping has become a thriving opportunity for youth participants and has helped the rabbit project grow into the 8th most popular project area in Jefferson County 4-H.
One of Jody’s greatest strengths is her ability to connect with young people. She creates a welcoming environment where youth feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. Whether working with first-year members or experienced exhibitors, Jody takes the time to help each participant develop their skills and confidence.
This year’s rabbit hopping competition at the Jefferson County Fair saw outstanding participation and enthusiasm. Thanks in large part to Jody’s leadership, youth had the opportunity to showcase the results of their hard work and training throughout the year. The smiles, excitement, and sense of accomplishment seen in the arena were a reflection of the positive experience she helps create for every participant.
Jody’s commitment to helping youth grow, learn, and succeed embodies the very best of the 4-H program. Thank you, Jody, for your passion, encouragement, and dedication to our members and the rabbit project!
Interested in joining Jody in the rabbit hopping program? Keep an eye on the Clover Connection for information about the first practice of the season in January. We’d love to see new members join this fun and growing project area!
