Volunteer of the Month: Becki Durkee

We are proud to recognize Becki Durkee as our Volunteer of the Month for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the Jefferson County 4-H program.

As the Leader’s Association Treasurer, Becki plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our organization remains financially sound, and organized. Her attention to detail and reliability help keep operations running smoothly, allowing volunteers and youth programs to succeed.

Becki has also been a key leader in our food stand efforts, consistently stepping up to help coordinate, manage, and support one of our most important fundraising endeavors. Her willingness to take on responsibilities and ensure things get done has made a tremendous impact on the success of this effort.

In addition, Becki has taken the lead on many of our fundraising activities, helping to plan, organize, and execute events that directly support 4-H youth opportunities, scholarships, and programming. Her dedication ensures that youth have access to meaningful experiences and resources.

Becki is a strong supporter of our Youth Livestock Committee. She works alongside youth reinforcing the values of youth-adult partnership that are central to 4-H.

Becki’s commitment, leadership, and willingness to serve wherever needed make her an invaluable part of our program. We are grateful for the time and energy she gives to support our 4-H youth and community.
