We are excited to kick off our monthly photo contest series for Jefferson County 4-H members! Each month, the theme will be shared in the newsletter, and members will have until the 15th of the month to submit their photo. Photos will then be posted on the Jefferson County UW-Extension 4-H Facebook and @jeffco4hwi Instagram account, and the winner will be the photo with the most likes after 5 days. Each member should only submit one photo per month. Tell your family and friends to vote!
All participants will receive a small prize for entering the contest, and can continue to collect a new prize each month. The winner for each month will also receive a grand prize.
A few ground rules:
1. The picture must be taken by a 4-H Member
2. No photoshop. Filters, crop/rotation, and background blur are allowed.
3. Keep it G rated–no photos of illegal activities, violence, etc.
4. Photos with human subjects under the age of 18 must either: (a) be a Jefferson County 4-H Member (b) not show the child’s face (c) blur the child’s face, or (d) receive a completed photo permission form from the child’s parent/guardian
5. Have fun!
For the month of June, the theme is Celebration! Please email your pictures, picture titles, and photographer’s name to cadance.hawk@wisc.edu by the 15th of the month!
