Volunteer of the Month: Jordan Soleska

We are proud to recognize Jordan Soleska for her outstanding leadership and commitment to Jefferson County 4‑H youth. Through her work with the Horse and Pony Project, Jordan has helped transform the program into a truly youth‑led, welcoming environment where young people feel heard, valued, and empowered.

Jordan consistently models the core principles of youth‑adult partnership—working alongside youth as capable partners, supporting shared decision‑making, and creating space for youth voice to shape the direction of the project. Rather than leading for youth, she leads with them, fostering confidence, ownership, and a strong sense of belonging.

Her encouragement, mentorship, and steady support help youth step into leadership roles while knowing they have a trusted adult ally behind them. Because of Jordan’s dedication, the Horse and Pony Project continues to grow as an inclusive, positive learning environment where youth can develop skills, build relationships, and lead with confidence. Thank you, Jordan, for your incredible support of youth and for strengthening 4‑H through partnership and purpose! 💚
