May Club News

Ideal Clever Clovers: On April 18th, the Ideal Clever Clovers 4-H Club met at the Dwight Foster Public Library in Fort Atkinson at 10:30am.

Members and leaders discussed the upcoming dairy breakfast in June at the Kutz Dairy Farm. We also talked about going to Little Amerika in June for our monthly meeting. We are hoping to get together one weekend and tie-dye club t-shirts.

In August we are looking forward to once again provide ice cream, pies and other desserts at the Barrie Park Bandshell for the audience and performers.

For a fun activity after the meeting, member Cyrus Becker brought a Lego kit for a presentation. He shared with his fellow peers what he liked about it.

Ixonia Victory: On April 6th, we held our club meeting, starting with pledges and the secretary and treasurer reports, as well as April birthdays.

We covered a lot in old business. Including the Adopt a Grandparent program, and past residents we helped. We also spoke about project meeting updates (horse, meat animals, ultrasound). Lastly, the Ixonia Easter Egg Hunt, and a recap of our successful flower fundraiser.

In new business, we discussed holding a spirit wear swap for new members, confirmed our project tour is moved to May 31st, and finalized plans for the Adopt a Grandparent program. Finally, we looked for new volunteers for upcoming demonstrations.

The meeting adjourned, and two members gave a demonstration.
